Allison Dee-Parkman Jones, MD., MDiv.,  was born in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Chicago with her BA in African-American Studies. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio (now the College of Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Toledo). She completed her Family Medicine Residency training at the Baton Rouge General and completed her Urgent Care Fellowship training at the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.She is a board certified Family Medicine physician and the the Medical Director of FastLane Urgent Care in Zachary, LA with over 15 years of Urgent Care experience.

Dr. Jones accepted Jesus Christ as her savior, was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit at First Apostolic Faith Church in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Jones has been teaching Sunday School for over 20 years. Her desire to help young people gain a better understanding and love for the Bible motivated her to start writing her own lessons. In an effort to continue her education and become a more effective teacher she completed her MDiv from Liberty University in 2018.

Although Dr. Jones started out teaching middle school students, she has taught students of all ages and levels from pre-k to the adult classes. She served as Superintendent of Christian Education at the Way of Holiness Ministries in Jackson, LA.  Dr. Jones currently resides in Zachary, LA with her husband Terrance who is Pastor of Grace and Mercy Ministries.
